Medical Affairs

Spectrum’s Medical Affairs department is the company’s primary customer-facing scientific exchange organization. The department includes functions dedicated to supporting the non-promotional scientific information needs of the healthcare community. These functions include Medical Information, Medical Communications, Field Medical Affairs, and Granting Support for Research, and Independent Medical Education. Medical Affairs also manages various Spectrum-sponsored research initiatives including selected registries and Expanded Access Programs.

The Department maintains a Medical Information Call Center staffed 24/7 to manage requests for fair-balanced scientific/medical information relating to Spectrum’s products and to provide a contact point for the reporting of adverse events or product complaints.

The Medical Affairs department fields a team of terminally-degreed scientists (Medical Science Liaisons) to facilitate scientific exchange and support the scientific information needs of the healthcare community. MSLs provide liaison between HCPs and various Research & Development resources including Clinical & Preclinical Development experts, Research or Educational Granting initiatives, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical Information. If you need support, have interest in our development pipeline, or would otherwise like to engage live with one of these professionals, please contact us via our Call Center.
